That was Ethan! He was in the kitchen at Great Grandma's and saw these out the French doors to the East. 'Look, it's a daddy, mommy, and baby'. I was in the entry room and told him to be quiet and not scare them away while I got my camera. It turned out I needed a long lens to get a very good picture but if you look really close you can make them out. Anyway, Ethan was excited and that's all that matters.They aren't the only 'amimals' he saw at Great Grandma's this weekend. In addition to these sandhill cranes, there were deer and bunnies too. Ethan decided that was pretty cool!!!!
